ABOUT US

The name, hhiflowerbomb, takes its inspiration from one of Wendy's favorite perfumes – a fragrance described as explosive & powerful with wonderful floral notes. We believe it suits us perfectly!
We, Wendy Porterfield & Lisa Kiggans, met at The Greenery Garden Center, Gift & Home. It didn't take long to discover we both had a passion for flowers & a love for creating beautiful floral designs. We had similar backgrounds in floristry, both working for two reputable flower shops on Hilton Head. After collaborating on a few very successful floral events, it made sense to combine our diverse floral experiences & training.
HOW WE WORK
Your special day should be everything you envision. Our responsibility is to make sure this happens. To start, we want to personally get to know you better. If it's your wedding, how do see your big day playing out? If it's an important event, what can we do to make it more special for you?
We like to have you be a part of the process. It's a partnership. Let's make this happen together!

Wendy Porterfield
North to South … City to beach … NYC to Hilton Head. Always a dream after working 25 years in graphic design. Took a side trip to New York Botanical Garden School for three years to complete the landscape and floral design certificate programs. Flowers of all kinds are my addiction. For the last 16 years I’ve spent time doing weddings and events, designing landscapes and creating beautiful containers for clients. I think you should learn at least one new thing every year so I continue to attend floral workshops.
